A fabulous viking, large equal ended bronze cloak brooch with green glass bead decoration.
This item which dates to circa 9th -10th century AD ,is in fabulous condition .
Of typical long equal ended form with raised turrets decoration this piece is set with green glass stones.
With a small loss to a terminal on one end as can be seen ,this piece is a real show stopper which would have been worn by a lady of wealth and standing in the community...
The iron fastening pin lost in antiquity as is usual, this type of item is seldom seen outside of important collections...
