Since we established in 2003, the Antiques Centre York has operated from ‘Allenby House’, our beautiful Grade II listed building. Located on the ancient and historic street of Stonegate, we’re in the bulls-eye of York city centre and its outstanding premium shopping district. Our neighbours are other jewellers, watch-sellers, art dealers, and high-end clothing and homewares shops. Stonegate is located across the street from York Minster's south transept, its visitor entrance.

We are a full-service antiques centre. By this, we mean that all of the beautiful antiques, jewellery and collectables you see in-store and online, don’t actually belong to us. They belong to a carefully curated community of dealers who each have their own passions and specialities. This means that we offer a mind-boggling range of items from all ages and all corners of the world. As we are the largest, best appointed and most centrally located centre in the region, our dealers tend to put their best stock in our trust. This means that, as a visitor, you’re likely to find exactly what you’re looking for and know that the item you find is of the highest quality.

It is this reputation that earns us our regular features on TV. From the BBC’s Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip to various other feature presentations, we are a go-to destination.

Once you visit our centre, chances are that we’ll see you again. Our customer community, like our dealers, tend to become loyal and welcome friends.
