A fabulous quality solid silver tetradrachm coin of Alexander The Great.

This item which dates to circa 336 -323 BC, is in wonderful allover condition.

It shows the head of Alexander in a lions skin headdress on the obverse side whilst the reverse shows the god zues on a throne with a sea eagle.

Ex. Private collection formed in the 1970s.

Size 2.7cm in Dia.
