A difficult to find medieval period iron barrel lock.
This item which dates to circav14th -15th century AD, is in fully conserved condition.
It would have been used in the day for securing gates ,chests and of course shackles.
Wonderful to have both sections still present.
Size 18.5 CM in Length.
River Thames foreshore excavation at Blackfriars London in 1970s.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a display box together with a certificate of authenticity.
