An absolutely fabulous and incredibly rare celtic warriors sword scabbard end chape.

This item which dates to circa 200 BC -200 AD, is in excellent allover condition.

It would have re enforced the end of the sword scabbard and stopped the blade passing through the leather....

A Large piece which would have protected an even larger sword.

Size 22.5 CM in Length.

Norfolk excavations in 1973.
