A very good quality pair of Stuart period Iron scissors .
These items which date to circa the 17th century AD, are in excellent condition.
They have the typical of the period open ended terminals to the handle as shown and would have been used to cut fabric or possibly leather.
They are frozen in the closed position as expected with a river find but in fabulous condition.
River Thames foreshore excavations at Blackfriars London in 1972.
Size 20.5 CM in Length.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a display box together with a certificate of authenticity.
