Description
A very rare to find celtic bronze and enamel decorated strap junction.
This item which dates to circa 100BC -100 AD , is in wonderful allover condition.
It retains nearly all of its original blue and red enamel inlay as shown and is decorated with the Celtic Triscal motif to the centre roundal. On the reverse it retains its two fastening bars which leather straps would have been attached ,either on a horses harness or a warriors waist belt.
A fabulous item seldom offered for sale.
