A miniature Moorcroft vase with box and sleeve.
This is a very small vase with a height of 55mm (approx 2”) and quite likely a specialist collector's item. Please remember the images are much larger than the vase in order to show detail more clearly.
In 1990 Moorcroft started to use year cyphers on their pottery i.e. symbols on the base to show the year an item was made, which may be different to the copyright date. This vase has the 'Dice' symbol to show 2019 as the year of production.
On the sleeve the price has been crossed out with pen however using a loop glass the retail price can clearly be seen as £140 hence an opportunity to purchase a nice collector's item at a substantial discount. The label on the sleeve also shows an item reference MC SRILANK92/2
The vase, box and sleeve are all in excellent condition.
