A Moorcroft vase in the Candlelight design by Nicola Slaney.
The height is 83mm and the diameter (across the widest section of the body) 83mm.
The base markings include the 'Pineapple' year cypher for 2005 which confirms this year as the year of production. The vase is actually part of the 2005 Christmas collection. This particular design only appeared on a small vase and a coaster (or pin dish as it is often called). Given that the design was associated with a particular year and restricted to two items could make it relatively rare and more attractive to a collector.
The vase has been closely inspected and is in excellent condition.
The design offers an attractive combination of style and sophistication and should make a worthy addition to many a collection of Moorcroft pottery.
