The base markings include the 'Pineapple' year cypher for 2005 which confirms this year as the year of production. The pin dish is actually part of the 2005 Christmas collection. This particular design only appeared on a small vase and a coaster (or pin dish as it is often called). Given that the design was associated with a particular year and restricted to two items could make it relatively rare and more attractive to a collector.
The pin dish has been closely inspected and is in excellent condition. This is a boxed and sleeved item and both the box and sleeve are also in excellent condition.
The design offers an attractive combination of style and sophistication and should make a worthy addition to many a collection of Moorcroft pottery.
