A truly stunning tudor period ,hand carved wooden polycromed figure of a saint.

This item which dates to the late 16th to the early 17th century, is in wonderful original condition.

It shows the saint in martyrdom, with his shirt open with chest bare.
With much original colour and polycrome remaining this is a rare survivor of the period. 

Standing on its plinth this is a stunning piece which would compliment any collection. 

Size 31.0 CM in Height.

As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
