A very rare and of wonderful quality romano / celtic bronze and enamel domed dagger pommel.
This item which dates to circa 1st-2nd century AD, is in excellent allover condition.
It would have formed the top of the dagger handle and would have looked very decorative in its day.
Much original enamel work remaining.
Romano / Celtic means of roman style and form but with native celtic influence in manufacture.
Size 2.6 CM in Dia.
