Description
A very rare group of two Tudor period ,decorated lead bird feeders. These items which date to circa 16th century AD, are in fabulous excavated condition.
These items would be used by the wealthy land owners and gentry to feed their exotic birds, Which would be seen as a sign of wealth and culture.
Rare to find with simple decoration.
Size 7.5 CM x 5.0 CM.
Lincolnshire excavations in the 1970s.
