A Gandharan Culture Terracotta Head Of The God Buddha.

A very rare Gandharan culture terracotta head of the god Buddha.

This item which is of heavy solid form ,dates to circa 3rd -4th century AD.

 With excellent facial detail ,this item would grace any collection.

It has some old museum quality restoration to the rear as can be seen, but all original composition. A very sureen piece from the well known Buddhist Gandharan culture.

Comes with a simple display stand as shown.

Size 17.0 CM in Height.
