A beautiful vintage Gillex ladies' Swiss mechanical cocktail watch, presented with an Elizabeth Duke watch box and appearing to have seen remarkably little wear.
The watch features a petite oval silver dial set within a finely textured gold-tone integral bracelet, giving it the appearance of a piece of vintage jewellery.
The dial is signed GILLEX, with 17 JEWELS INCABLOC beneath and SWISS MADE at the bottom, complemented by applied baton markers and gold-tone hands.
The oval glass measures approximately 13mm × 11mm, with the complete watch approximately 16mm wide at the dial.
Powered by a traditional 17-jewel Swiss manual-wind mechanical movement with Incabloc shock protection. The watch is running and keeping time consistent with what would reasonably be expected from a vintage mechanical watch of this age.
