A fine example of a very popular salamander brooch. This vintage version measure approximately 70mm x 30mm and is set through the middle of the salamanders back with graduated emeralds with diamonds set either side and in the legs. The salamander has two small rubies for the eyes and a pearl in its mouth. Made in 15ct gold (tested) with silver settings, hinge pin and roll over safety clasp. Gross weight 15.1g.
