Description
A very pretty silver condiment, sweetmeat or nut bowl with a ruby glass liner making it easy to wash and clean. The bowl has handles at each side and is made with decorative open lattice work to the sides so that the lovely coloured glass can be seen and contrasted against the silver.
The silver is made by William Comyns and hallmarked in London in 1898.
Size: 3.5 cm high 12.3 cm across including handles 7 cm across the bowl itself
Weight: 125.3 g with liner. Silver only 38.4g
Condition: As per photographs. In excellent antique condition commensurate with age and light normal usage. Glass excellent no chips etc. Good hallmarks. Overall a good quality robust item ready for the table.
