Attractive Victorian garnet cluster measuring 46mm in diameter in the form of a ten point star. The cluster has a metal hinge pin and brooch fitting with a 'C' catch to be worn as a brooch but also has a five cluster 'V' with the top cluster having a hidden bail behind, permanent attachment, so the cluster can be worn as a pendant. the overall length when worn as a pendant being 70mm. Testing as low carat gold, typical of Victorian pieces. There is a small repair work on back which is acceptable for age.
