Silver curb design links heavy weight with a padlock and safety chain fastening. Length 7 1/2 inches or 19cms plus the catch. Hallmarked by Birmingham assay office in 1955 each link of the bracelet has been give a silver stamp. The padlock catch has been added at a later date as it has a different hallmark London 1975. It is possible that the curb chain was originally part of a pocket watch guard.
