This is an original René Lalique “Graines d'Asperges” (Asparagus seeds) bowl, moulded in clear/opalescent glass, that dates to c1921. The model number is #3220.
"R.Lalique” is moulded into the upper surface of the base (the “R” is not fully formed and difficult to photograph, but it is there).
The bowl measures approximately 24cm wide and stands 9.5cm high.
The bowl is in very good original condition. There are some slight imperfections in the moulding that are believed to be original to the manufacture (see photos). Other than these there is minimal wear, and probably better than to be expected for a piece of this age and usage.
There is no original packaging.
