This amazing Vintage Sterling Silver statement necklace is a remarkable piece of jewellery, combining a bold Danish-inspired design with an unmistakable artisan character.
The necklace is composed of 14 smooth, domed round silver links on each side, gradually leading down towards three large oval domed links on either side of the central feature. At the centre is a large oval silver link, creating a beautifully balanced and dramatic design.
Each of the large oval links is decorated with intricate floral engraving, adding an elegant contrast to the smooth, sculptural silver surfaces. The links are connected with hidden articulated joints, allowing each section to move naturally and slightly overlap its neighbour. This gives the necklace a wonderful fluidity, allowing it to sit beautifully and comfortably around the neckline.
It has a secure hook clasp and is stamped “STERLING” together with the maker's mark “AM”.
A truly impressive and unusual vintage silver necklace, perfect for collectors of Scandinavian-inspired jewellery.
