Omar Ramsden (1873–1939) is regarded as one of Britain's greatest twentieth-century silversmiths. His work is represented in major museum collections and is admired for its exceptional craftsmanship, sculptural quality and unmistakable hand-finished decoration inspired by medieval and natural forms.

A striking later example featuring an attractive hand-hammered circular terminal engraved with the original owner's initials A.K.S. above the date 1931.
The design displays an elegant intertwining foliate design with deeply chased leaves radiating towards the bowl, producing a wonderfully tactile surface that immediately identifies the spoon as Ramsden's work.
This spoon combines restrained decoration with superb craftsmanship and represents Ramsden's mature period.
Condition
This spoon are in very good antique condition with crisp decoration and clearly struck London hallmarks together with Omar Ramsden's maker's mark.
They display only light surface wear consistent with careful use over the last century and have not been excessively polished, preserving the fine detail of the hand-finished decoration.
