In 2024 Lalique introduced “Iconics rose nebula”, a new pink lustre colour that includes gold in its creation. This colour is sprayed on to a finished clear piece, then annealed in a high temperature furnace, and the process repeated several times until the right shade of colour is achieved.
The original panda sculpture, designed by Marie-Claude Lalique (René’s granddaughter), was first released in 1996. The design was available in clear and black; both have been discontinued.
… but now the sculpture has been revived and included in a limited number of pieces to be given the new pink colour.
The sculpture measures approximately 7 cm (2.75") tall, and 5.5 cm (2") at its widest.
Brand new and boxed.
