Medal for Louis XVIII Mounted on a Circular Wooden Plaque, after Andrieu. The medal is made of copper with a patina giving the impression of bronze. This is the obverse of the 1814 medal "The King Enters Paris", by Andrieu (obv) & Brenet (rev). This medal may well be uniface.
In excellent order with no damage. A fine patina to the copper.
Approximate weight is 72 grams.
Approximate plaque dimensions are 8.8 cm diameter and 1.3 cm depth.
