Description

Late Victorian Horse Racing Interest Snuff Box. A late 19th century turned oak circular snuff box, the push-fitting cover with white metal plaque inscribed  'Autumn 1895, Mr Threeknowit's Mystery, Time 1m 59 1/2 s'.

In good condition with high wear to the white metal plaque. The wooden cover with one stable crack (phots 1 and 5).

Approximate weight is 48 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 6 cm diameter and 2.7 cm height.
