Late Georgian, Sheffield plated (silver plate on copper), large pedestal teapot. circa 1825. Features a rubbed in silver circle with monogram to one side and gadrooned rims. The domed cover features an ornate finial and the whole tepaot is raised on a circular pedestal foot. The underside of the spout is acanthus capped.
In excellent order with minute traces of solder where the spout joins the body. Ever so slightly misshapen base rim. Hardly any loss of the silver plate.
