The Lalique Dampierre design vase features a clear glass urn shaped vase on a pedestal base, with a continuous frieze of satin finish moulding of alternating sparrows and vines round the middle.
"Lalique ® France" is engraved to the base.
The design by Marc Lalique, Rene's son, dates to 1948. The design is still in production. This example is of later production.
The vase measures 12 cm in diameter across the top, 6.5 cm in diameter across the foot and stands 12.3 cm tall. It weighs a substantial 1265g. All measurements are approximate.
The vase is in very good condition ... it has retained its original felt pads to the base, so “shelf wear” is non-existent. The vase does not have a box.
