Lalique pedestal bowl "Thorns" … Coupe Epines.
The "Thorns" design was inspired by René Lalique's "Epines" design of 1926. This new interpretation was designed in 2008.
The design features a clear glass bowl, atop a black moulded cabochon and foliage pedestal base.
"Lalique R France" is engraved in the base, and the bowl still carries the original "Lalique Paris" label.
The dish measures 15.5 cm (6.2") in diameter across the top, 6.5 cm (2.5") in diameter across the foot and stands 11 cm (4.3") tall.
All measurements are approximate.
The dish is in excellent unused(?) condition. No chips, cracks or discolouration have been noted. The base has silicon pads so there is no base wear.
The bowl is presented in its original box which also shows little sign of wear.
