The Lalique "Clairefontaine" perfume bottle was designed by René Lalique in 1931. This example is of later manufacture. The design is still in production today.
The bottle is a plain clear sphere. The stopper features a spray of lily of the valley, which was René's favourite flower.
The perfume bottle measures 5.6 cm (2.2") in diameter, and stands, including the stopper collar, 5.4 cm (2.1") tall. The stopper is 9.8 cm (3.8") wide and stands 7.3 cm (2.9") tall. When combined with the bottle, the piece stands 12 cm (4.7") tall.
"Lalique France" is engraved on the base.
The perfume bottle is in excellent condition, with no faults noted. It does not appear to have been used.
There is no box.
