Hester Bateman, Georgian, George III, silver coffee pot, London 1783. Chased with birds, flowers and scrolls. Acorn finial on a chased dome lid. Ornate spout and ebonised handle. Hallmarked in full to the base and in part to the underside of the lid.
In excellent order with no dents, creases, or splits. Surface wear is commensurate with age. Possible traces of solder to the underside of the base, as is common with 18th century pots and tankards.
