Georgian Sheffield Plated Dish Cross & Warmer, circa 1790 - 1810. Raised on four oval and reeded feet with a central burner. The angled dish supports are also reeded. The feet and dish supports slide along the square arms to allow different dishes to be supported. The square arms of the dish cross can be pushed together to allow easy storage and moved into different positions to accommodate oval or circular dishes.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear. One support moves a little more freely than the others.
Approximate weight is 799 grams.
Fully collapsed dimensions are 37 cm length, 9 cm width and 10.5 cm height.
One opened position dimensions, as an example, are 31 cm length, 22 width and 10.5 cm height.
