A beautiful example of a Georgian mourning ring with plaited hair encased in crystal and the words 'remember'. On the reverse is inscribed (what looks like!) "Harry Johnson ob 30 Sepbr 1783 at 22".
Small scratch to the crystal. Otherwise in lovely condition for its age. No hallmarks, and not been tested.
Period style: Georgian (1714 – 1837)
