Georgian, George IV, silver boat shaped teapot. Engraved either side with laurel oval shaped wreath cartouche and monogram within. Reeded knop and raised on a reeded lip above four compressed globular feet.
Hallmarked for Newcastle 1830 by Thomas Wheatley and further part hallmarked to the inside of the cover.
In very good order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Holes to the undersides of the orb feet and two very shallow depressions on the main face of the handle. These have all been photographed.
Approximate weight is 548 grams or 17.6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 26 cm length, 12 cm depth and 14 cm height.
