Georgian, George IV, Old Sheffield Plate Coffee Pot, circa 1820. Of plain form with wooden handle and finial. Raised on a circular foot, with circular and shell detail to the handle sockets and features a gadrooned upper rim.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear, light pressure marks and areas of copper bleed commensurate with age. A little movement in the lower handle socket, but the handle is secure. The handle itself has had a securing pin fitted to address a split.
Approximate weight is 883 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 25.5 cm height and 24.5 cm handle to spout length.
