Late Georgian Old Sheffield Plate coffee biggin, circa 1820. Of plain, squat and bellied form with fruit wood handle and knop. The biggin features a gadrooned rim and base. There are no inscriptions or engravings.

Condition is very good with moderate to high surface wear commensurate with age. Small amounts of light copper bleed and light pressure marks. Free of any major dents or creases.

Approximate weight is 840 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 23 cm height, 21 cm handle to spout length and 11.5 cm depth.
