Georgian, George III, Twelve Provincial Thread Pattern Silver Teaspoons. Each terminal with the intial S in English script.
All spoons are hallmarked for Hampston, Prince & Cattles of York, circa 1800. Nine of the spoons have the maker's mark in use between 1799 and 1800. Three of the spoons have the maker's mark in use between 1797 and 1804. There is no town mark or date letter on the spoons. Each spoon has the lion passant mark.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some light pressure marks and slight misshaping to one bowl. The tips are generally good, but some with higher wear.
Approximate total weight of all twelve spoons is 229 grams or 7.3 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 13.6 cm length and 2.6 cm bowl width.
