Georgian, George III, Six Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoons. Of Old English pattern with a monogram to each terminal.
Hallmarked for James Orr of Greenock, 1804. The spoons were sent to Edinburgh for Assay and so carry the Edinburgh town and date letter marks.
In very good condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. One spoon has had a repair to the bowl and I have included additional photos of this single spoon. The makers marks are quite faint and not as clear as the Edinburgh Assay Office marks.
Approximate weight for all six spoons is 173 grams or 5.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 18 cm length and 3.4 cm bowl width.
