Georgian, George III, silver finely pierced cake basket with beaded bale handle and borders. Pierced and engraved with very fine decorative bands. An engraved armorial is in the centre of the solid base. The basket sits on a beaded and pierced oval collet foot.

One further repair of the cross shaped detail towards the base with four solder spots. Both of these repairs have been photographed from both inside and outside the basket (the last four photos). The handle slightly misshapen when laying flat.
