Georgian, George III, silver coffee pot. Features an acanthus capped handle and removable domed cover with orb finial. The body features a contemporary monogram to one side. The top and bottom rims feature gadrooned decoration.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear, commensurate with age. Some clouding of the silver (firescale) on and around the spout area.
Hallmarked to the body and the inside of the cover for London 1817 by Charles Fox I. Further part hallmarked to the handle by Charles Fox I.
Approximate weight is 637 grams or 20.48 troy ounces.
