Description

Georgian, George III, silver hot water jug of plain, bellied, form with a crest and motto.

In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Small loss of rattan covering towards the top of the handle.

Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1798 by John Wakelin & Robert Garrard. Further part hallmarked to the inside of the cover rim with the lion passant and maker's mark.

Approximate weight is 551 grams, or 17.7 troy ounces. 

Approximate dimensions are 25 cm height, 12 cm depth and 15.5 cm spout to handle length.
