Georgian, George III, Set of Six Crested Silver Serving or Table Spoons. Each with an identical crest of a lion with one paw on a shield.
Five spoons are hallmarked for London 1795 and one is hallmarked for London 1796. All are hallmarked by Richard Crossley.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. Some fading to the crests and heat hazing marks on one stem.
Apprxomate weight of all six spoons is 394 grams or 12.6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one 1796 spoon is 22 cm length and 4.6 cm bowl width.
Approximate dimensions of the 1795 spoon is 21.5 cm length and 4.5 cm bowl width.
