Georgian, George III, set of four silver salt frames with blue glass liners. Each frame is raised on four bracket feet and there is an identical monogram to one side of each frame.
In very good order with light surface wear commensurate with age. One glass liner is not original and is a tighter fit, protruding ever so slightly over the rim of the frame. One liner has a chip and crack, as per my photograph.
Each salt frame is hallmarked for London 1801 by Josiah Snatt.
Approximate weight of all four salts, with glass liners is 440 grams.
Approximate silver weight of all four frames is 194 grams or 6.2 troy ounces .
Approximate dimensions of one salt is 8 cm length, 5.7 cm width and 4.8 cm height.
