Georgian, George III, Set of Four Octagonal Silver Salts. The salts are all fitted with blue glass liners and have a different crest to each side. On one side is a bird, whilst the other has a hunting dog. The salts are of shaped octagonal form on a shaped octagonal pedestal foot. Reeded detail to the borders.
Each salt is hallmarked for London 1792 by Michael Plummer.
The salts are in excellent condition with repairs visible to the interiors where some of the seams have split. These repairs do not show on the exterior of the salts. The salts are free of dents & creases and are ready to use. The octagonal blue glass liners are in excellent condition.
Approximate total silver weight of all four salts is 343 grams or 11 troy ounces.
