Georgian, George III, Set of Eighteen Silver King's Pattern Tablespoons Crested for Maltby. It seems likely that these spoons were in the possession of a descendant of the Maltby family of Orston in Nottinghamshire. A heraldry report accompanies this item. The spoons are all double struck with a diamond heel shell reverse.
Each spoon is hallmarked for London 1810 by Paul Storr.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Some rubbing to the hallmarks, but all have been photographed.
Approximate weight for all eighteen spoons is 1.974 kilos or 63.4 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 21.5 cm length and 4.7 cm bowl width.
