Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate salver with a beautiful central crest. Circa 1790 - 1810. In original condition, with no later chasing. Features rolled over silver edges, a gadrooned border and raised on three ornate bracket feet. The crest appears to represent a winged cherub with head in hands upon a tomb.
In excellent order with some copper bleed to the main surface. No warping and free of dents. Surface wear is commensurate with age.
