Georgian, George III, Mahogany Cased Crested Silver Dessert Service for Twelve. Each silver handle with an identical crest and the initial W. Housed in a later fitted mahogany case with working key. All handles feature fluted terminals and reeded collar section (the handles and collar sections are one piece).
In excellent original condition with minimal wear to the knife blades and fork tines. The handles are also in excellent order with the occasional light pressure mark. The case is in very good condition with some stable splits. There are some small gaps between the end of the handles and the blades or fork stems, but all are secure with the blades and stems held firmly in place.
Each knife blade & handle together with each fork stem and handle are hallmarked for London 1809 by Moses Brent. All hallmarks have been photographed.
Not for dishwasher use. Wash only in lukewarm water.
