Georgian, George III, Lion Crested Pedestal Silver Cream Jug. Raised on a circular foot with acanthus capped scroll handle and shaped rim. Crested to the front with a lion and later decorated with foliage and scrolls.

In very good condition with moderate to high surface wear commensurate with age.

Hallmarked for London 1773. A feint maker's mark, possibly I D.

Approximate weight is 73 grams or 2.3 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are 10 cm height, 10 cm length and 5.5 cm depth.
