A Large George III Old Sheffield Plate Oval Armorial Salver, or Tray. Raised and Reeded Border, Tapered & Reeded Feet and Circa 1790. Central Armorial for the Arms of Cooper & Lambard.
Approximate dimensions are 53 cm length, 38 cm width and 4 cm height.
Approximate weight is 1.84 kilos.
In good condition with moderate surface commensurate with age. The feet all have solder marks where they join the underside of the salver (photos 7 - 10). These feet are also all folded over, as per photo 6. The feet could be a later addition but are Old Sheffield Plate and of approximately the same age as the salver.
