Georgian, George III, hexafoil silver salver of plain form and raised upon three scroll feet, with a gadrooned border. Free of any inscriptions or engravings.
In good original condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The feet have been capped and there have been some very small split repairs in three areas to the underside of the salver and in one area on the main surface. They are in areas where the pointed sections of the hexafoil pattern point inwards towards the centre of the salver. The salver stands flat and is slightly raised towards the centre. I cannot see any evidence of erasure.
Hallmarked for London 1766. The maker's mark appears to have been used by both Elizabeth Cooke and Ebenezer Coker.
Approximate weight is 889 grams or 28.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 30 cm diameter by 4 cm height.
