Georgian, George III, pair of stag crested silver sauce boats. Features thinly gadrooned rims and acanthus capped scroll handles. Raised on three pad feet with shell shoulders. The underside of each sauce boat features a contemporary monogram of W.H.
In very good condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Free of dents and creases. The gadrooned rims are quite thin and there have been a few solder repairs, as you would expect with items of this age. No sign of any feet pushing through.
Each sauce boat is hallmarked to the underside for London 1766 by Sebastian & James Crespell.
